Joaquín Rodríguez Grau (CEO of CATEC) and Gracia Catalina Piñero (director of ESA BIC Andalusia) represented CATEC at the Space Forum session held in the Colón Hall of Seville City Hall.
The Space Surveillance Chair of the ETSi – Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville was presented, with the involvement of the company Indra. Preparations for World Space Week 2025, from 4 to 10 October, were also announced, with the theme “Living in space”.
As an entity affiliated with the Space Forum, we presented our proposals for activities for the programme, such as an open day at hashtag#CATEC for groups such as children and the elderly, and a meeting with other organisations in the sector to raise awareness among the population.
Finally, we took stock of everything that has been achieved during Seville’s presidency of the Ariane Cities Community in 2024. Thank you for counting on CATEC.
