On February 25, 2026, we had the honor of participating in the Andalucía Knowledge space at TRANSFIERE, invited by the Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía, a key partner of ESA BIC Andalusia.

Our Manager, Gracia Catalina Piñero, took part in a roundtable alongside leading figures in Andalusian entrepreneurship and innovation:

  • Moderator: Francisco Javier Gonzalez Navarro – Director General of Entrepreneurship Promotion and Continuing Education, Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation (Junta de Andalucía)
  • Angel Millán Ramos – University Technician, Andalucía Emprende, Fundación Pública Andaluza / CADE UMA
  • Eugenia Sanjuán Medina – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Consultant, Daleph
  • Francisco Liñán – Director of the Entrepreneurship Secretariat, University of Seville
  • Juan Antonio Muñoz Orellana – Director of OTRI, University of Granada
  • Sergio Fortes – Associate Professor at the University of Málaga, Deputy Director of the R&D+i group Mobilenet – Mobile & Aerospace Networks Lab (University of Málaga), co-founder of the spin-off Albor Space

During the forum, Gracia shared a vision focused on strengthening Andalusia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, highlighting the importance of turning scientific talent and knowledge into solid, market-ready companies:

“Andalusia has first-rate talent and knowledge generation. The next step, and a shared challenge, is to work in a coordinated way among all ecosystem actors so that these spin-offs become solid companies with a defined business model, complementary teams, and real market potential.”

Events like this underscore the importance of building synergies between universities, public institutions, innovation centers, and specialized supports such as ESA BIC Andalusia to strengthen deep tech entrepreneurship in the region.
