Our Manager, Gracia Catalina Piñero, participated in the IV Encuentro Foro del Espacio in Sevilla, a session focused on a key challenge for our ecosystem: scaling Spanish aerospace projects to the United States and NASA.
During her talk, “Emprender en el sector espacial: startups que ya están construyendo futuro”, Gracia presented the mission of ESA BIC Andalusia and put the spotlight on our incubated companies. Beyond technical support, our goal is to provide the strategic vision needed to bridge the gap between local innovation and international markets.
The day included a masterclass by Gonzalo García Julián (Markentry USA) on accessing the American market and an update on the national space scene by José Mª Pérez (Spanish Space Agency). For our startups, the bilateral meetings were a unique chance to study real growth opportunities in the US.
The collaboration between the Junta de Andalucía, the Sevilla City Council, and the Foro del Espacio continues to be essential in providing our companies with the tools they need to compete in the global space race.
