We’ve participated in the roundtable “Opportunities from Seville to Attract Talent, Investment, and Businesses” hosted by Al Andalus Innovation Venture, where our manager, Gracia Catalina Piñero, highlighted the role of ESA BIC Andalusia as a space hub and gateway to the European space ecosystem from Seville and Andalusia.
During her speech, she emphasized how the space sector is growing steadily in revenue and employment, how every euro invested in space returns multiplied to society in innovation, data, and solutions, and how this project is possible thanks to the decisive commitment of the organizations driving it: Centro Avanzado de Tecnologías Aeroespaciales (CATEC), Agencia Espacial Española, Junta de Andalucía and Ayuntamiento de Sevilla.
We also shared the discussion with Macarena Martínez Sánchez (IMSE-CNM), Ozren Bogdanovic (CABD), Guillermo Heredia (Robotics and Artificial Intelligence), and Érika López Palma (CSIC), key figures who reflect the scientific and technological excellence of Seville and Andalusia.
A roundtable that showcased Seville and Andalusia’s strength as hubs of talent, innovation, and investment—especially in the space sector.
